Top-Three Book Review: Colleen Hoover Edition
However, I didn’t know where to start when I first heard about the CoHo Train. I tried to do some research, but everything had spoilers or was just not helpful. So, here we will quickly cover my SPOILER-FREE top-three novels by Colleen Hoover for your TBR.
To clarify, all of these books are good. Like, really good. They’re just the top three of the ones I’ve read. I’m prepared for a sound-off in the comments.
Good: Verity
Photo Credit: Colleen HooverVerity is a great book if you’re into untrustworthy characters and questioning your sanity. With spooky season quickly approaching, it’s the perfect time to grab this mystery thriller and snuggle up with hot chocolate and a blanket. If you end up reading Verity, let me know if you’re team manuscript or team letter. No spoilers, though - we are anti-spoilers in this house.
Verity is available signed (!!) directly from Colleen Hoover, or not-signed from Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Target. At the time of writing this, Target had the lowest price.
Better: November 9
Photo Credit: Colleen HooverAs if anyone needs more reasons to cry, this book is perfect for a good old-fashioned sobfest. The pacing of this book is phenomenal and we see a lot of character development throughout. The mid-novel twist will have you flipping pages faster than you can read them because you’ll just want to see what happens next. It’s a love story for the ages!
November 9 is available (again, signed!) directly from Colleen Hoover, or not-signed from Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Target. At the time of writing this, Amazon and Target had lower prices than competitors.
Best: Ugly Love
We love a strong, relatable heroine like Tate to live through vicariously. If you want to feel, well, everything, this is the book for you. She’s so likable, you’ll just want her to have the world, and you’ll be equally frustrated at everything that gets in the way of that. I was on the edge of my seat waiting for things to fall into place for her, and then crying when we found out why they weren’t. You get the picture, just a lot of up-and-down emotions in general. In other words, all the feels.
